Elaine's 11th Birthday!

This year Elaine had her party at "Hogwarts". She did some magic tricks that she learned at Hogwarts from the year before and then the kids played Quidditch. To celebrate the end of the game they enjoyed some Butter Beer and special cupcakes. It was a ton of fun for everyone. Happy Birthday Elaine!

Spidey Stuart turns 4

Stuart had a great 4th birthday. We played pin the spider on Spiderman. We threw a Spiderman frisbee at the villian pictures posted throughout the backyard. If the kids hit the Spiderman villains with the frisbee then they got a prize. We had Spiderman cake and all of the kids got a Spiderman goodie bag. Happy 4th birthday, Stuart!!!

ARR Matey

David had a pirate themed birthday party this year. His 9th birthday party started off with a crossword puzzle. This worksheet had many items on it that had to do with ice cream. Once the crossword puzzles were finished the kids had to go on a treasure hunt to the neighbors houses to find the items on the worksheet. Once they found all of the items they created their sundaes. We made ice cream sundaes because David doesn't like cake. Then everyone got a pirate gun and goodie bag after the presents were opened. Happy 9th birthday David!!!

Only in Alamogordo

This is sooo funny.... We were at the Alameda Zoo on Saturday evening. The zoo closed down for an after hours work party. It was a ton of fun and the kids had a blast with the jumping houses, face painting, playground, clowns and of course the zoo animals. The party was coming to a close and we told the kids that we needed to head home soon because it was getting dark. Then Stuart in a straight face said, "But mommy the cockroaches haven't started coming out yet". I busted a gut laughing so hard! How true his statement is and how sad that he relates these gross bugs to night time. Only in Alamogordo!
